Natalie Carlin

Natalie Carlin

Natalie joined the B.A.T.D. Head Office in September 2023 as an Administrative Assistant, bringing with her extensive experience from a long-standing career in the finance industry. 

In recognition of her skills and dedication, she was appointed Assistant to the General Secretary in 2025.

In her day-to-day role, Natalie works closely with the Accounts department, manages all incoming and outgoing correspondence, and provides key administrative support for syllabus orders and examination processes. 

She is known for her efficiency, attention to detail, and ability to support the smooth operation of the Head Office.

Heather Gold

Heather Gold

With a career spanning over 25 years at the British Association of Teachers of Dancing, Heather has been a dedicated and invaluable member of the organisation.

Starting in January 2000, Heather initially served as Membership Secretary, overseeing Membership management and fostering relationships with members until 2021. 

After two decades in this role, Heather stepped in to the position of Examination Secretary, where she now plays a crucial part in organising and coordinating examinations, ensuring the highest standards are maintained for all B.A.T.D. candidates.

Heather has recently taken on the role of Office Manager, where she continues to contribute her wealth of knowledge and experience to the B.A.T.D., working tirelessly to support both members and candidates in their journey.

Nicola Hoole

Nicola Hoole

Nicola has been the Membership Secretary for the British Association of Teachers of Dancing since July 2021. 

In this role, she oversees the annual Membership process, ensuring seamless registration and renewal for both new and existing members.

Jasmine Bonner

Jasmine Bonner

Jasmine began working at the B.A.T.D. as a Head Office assistant in December 2024. She plays an important role in processing and organising all B.A.T.D. scholarship paperwork. 

She ensures that all documentation is accurate, processed in a timely manner, and in compliance with B.A.T.D. standards.

By assisting with a range of administrative tasks at the B.A.T.D., Jasmine also helps to maintain an organised and efficient office environment.


Scholarship Office Assistant

Sarah McGauley

Sarah McGauley

Sarah has been working as an Administrator at the British Association of Teachers of Dancing since May 2023. 

In this role, she focusses primarily on creating certificates for exams that have been successfully passed, ensuring that the documentation is accurate and timely.

Sarah also contributes to the smooth running of the office through various general administrative tasks, supporting the overall efficiency of the B.A.T.D.’s operations.
